Adventure Dining Guide is a food blog geared towards health-conscious outdoors lovers. They already had lots of great content, but their website was outdated, difficult to work with, and wasn’t getting the attention it deserved. ADG approached First Chair to rebuild their website on a modern, flexible platform and help them generate more traffic and engagement.
We developed a magazine-style WordPress site for ADG that puts their content front and center, is mobile friendly, and is significantly easier to manage. To drive engagement, we gave users the ability to comment, rate, print, and share recipes, sign up for their email list, and subscribe to their YouTube channel. To drive traffic, we optimized the site for search engines, created deep integrations for social media, and set up robust analytics so they can monitor the site’s performance.
Since launching the site in October 2016, ADG has seen a 484% increase in website traffic, climbed the Google rankings for hundreds of competitive keywords like “healthy hiking snacks,” and expanded their email list and social following exponentially.
